Biography

Rebecca J. Patten is an AV-rated lawyer practicing in Norman, Oklahoma, focusing on estate planning services for individuals and representation of public boards and organizations.

Becky was born and raised in Norman and is an active member of the community. In the past, she has served on the board of directors of Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma, the board of trustees of the First Presbyterian Church of Norman, as ways and means committee chair for the Norman High Band Association, on the University of Oklahoma Women’s and Gender Studies board of advisors and coached youth softball and organized the classic readers club at her children’s elementary school. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and serves as side-walker for her sister’s therapeutic horseback riding center.

Becky earned an undergraduate degree with highest honors in Letters from the University of Oklahoma in 1974 and graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1977. She has practiced law in a small firm setting for more than 45 years and enjoys the opportunity it presents to provide high quality legal services and personally serve her clients’ needs. Her bar association memberships include the American Bar Association: Real Property, Probate and Trust Section; the Oklahoma Bar Association: Estate Planning and Probate Law and Government and Administrative Law Practice Sections; and the Cleveland County Bar Association.
